The Internet Is Losing It Over Trump’s Tic Tac Stumble At Lindsey Graham’s Funeral

Donald Trump was doing strange things with tic tacs during Lindsey Graham's funeral.

During the funeral on Tuesday for Sen. Lindsey Graham, President Donald Trump gave a eulogy in which he appeared to disagree with his own prepared text, fell asleep for a time, knocked on Graham’s coffin, and was also seen both brandishing a Tic Tac and appearing to miss his own mouth with one of them.

According to Rolling Stone’s account of the funeral, Trump “showed generosity to his fellow man. Here he is offering JD Vance a Tic Tac.”

A video posted from the funeral showed the president holding a box of Tic Tacs, and seeming to miss on the first try of putting one in his mouth:

Social media users had some laughs at that moment:

Trump and Tic Tacs were previously in the news earlier this month, when the president repeatedly referred to the social media platform TikTok as “Tic Tac.” This happened despite TikTok frequently being in the news throughout both of Trump’s presidencies, and Trump first threatening to ban the platform, and later taking credit for saving it.

“You know who’s number one on Tic Tac? I am,” Trump said on July 8 at the NATO summit in Turkey. “And all I talk about is how bad communism is.”

At the same time, Trump appears to enjoy the mint product of the similarly pronounced name.
