The Irony Is Deep As Americans Remind Trump Of His Own “Morbidly Obese” Girth After He Made “Fat-Shaming” Truth Social Post Aimed At Chris Christie

Boy, he stuck his foot right in that one.

Trump’s recent attempt to make a public mockery out of yet another one of his “enemies” has backfired in his face in one of the most deliciously hilarious ways you can imagine after the washed-up former guy had the absolute gall to attempt to fat-shame someone who dared to slight him — leaving Americans to take to social media, where they reminded the scandal-ridden ex-president of the state of his own girthy waistline.

Last weekend, former Republican governor of New Jersey and formerly staunch supporter of the ex-president, Chris Christie, sat for an interview with ABC News, where he discussed the bombshell FBI search and seizure warrant raid against Donald Tump’s Mar-a-Lago compound, in connection to the Justice Department’s investigation into Trump’s theft of hundreds of highly-classified documents from the White House at the end of his presidential term.

In the interview, Christie matter-of-factly stated that the former president likely left the US Department of Justice “no choice” but to conduct the raid against his Palm Beach estate. Apparently, this was all it took to send Donald Trump flying off the handle at his former insider and pal.

Following the perceived slight, Trump took to his floundering Truth Social, wannabe Twitter platform to take aim at Chris Christie — more specifically attempting to mock the former NJ governor’s weight.

The ex-president posted an image of a man, from the back, leaning over a buffet counter and appearing to fill his plate. While we can’t confirm that the image is actually of Chris Christie (we’re actually pretty sure it’s not, and likely just something Donald found floating around on the internet somewhere) Trump took it upon himself to caption the photo, “Chris Christie at a Roy Rogers at 11 PM in the evening trying to console himself.” This, of course, heavily implied that Donald Trump was calling his former friend overweight.

I’ll just let you sit with that irony for a moment.

Social media users were unsurprisingly quick to take aim at Trump and remind him of the deep irony involved in “fat-shaming” his former friend when his own massive girth constitutes a “morbidly obese” label:

Back in 2021 Christie, who confirmed undergoing weight loss surgery in 2013, spoke with CNN and opened up about the relentless public attacks against his physical appearance: ” I could be talking about the Iran nuclear deal, and I’ll get a response from somebody on email or Twitter or Facebook or wherever saying, ‘You fat S.O.B. You blah, blah, blah.'”

To make matters even more ironic still, Trump’s fat-shaming post towards Christie comes just weeks after he took to Truth Social to ask his followers, “Why are people so mean?”

It’s pretty clear that there is quite literally no low Trump won’t sink to.
