The Latest Attack: Trump Accuses Seth Meyers’ Anti-Trump Content Is ‘Probably Illegal’

Trump’s obsession with TV critics is getting weird

Donald Trump has gone off on Seth Meyers again.

The President attacked the NBC late-night host after Meyers mocked him in a segment on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to ‘perform’ live in the history of television. In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise.”

He called Meyers a “truly deranged lunatic” and accused NBC of spending its time and money on “a guy like this” and claimed the host’s attitude was “probably illegal.”

The rant came after Meyers aired a bit called Seth Translates Trump to English during his “A Closer Look” segment. The clip poked fun at Trump’s speech to U.S. Navy troops near Japan and included some sharp jabs.

“If anyone dares to say anything less than glowing, Trump loses his s–t,” Meyers joked. He added, “Trump thinks that if you say something mean about him, that’s treason.”

Meyers didn’t respond directly to Trump’s rant but quietly reposted the same segment that started the whole fight. It was the perfect silent clapback.

This isn’t new ground for either of them. Trump has called Meyers “Marble Mouth Meyers” and “a slot filler for the Scum that runs Comcast.”

Back in August, Trump raged online about a “sick rumor” that NBC had renewed Meyers’ contract, a rumor that turned out to be true.

NBC extended his deal through 2028, which sent Trump into another meltdown. He called Meyers “the personality of an insecure child” and asked why the network would “extend this dope’s contract.”
