The Times Reported Trump Allies Are Warning Senior Republicans To Keep Their Mouths Shut About Criticizing DOJ And FBI As Potential Grows For More Damning Infomation To Be Released

Good luck with that.

Trump and his allies, insiders, and advisors want to act as though the recent Mar-a-Lago FBI search warrant raid was a random act of political violence that simply came out of the wild, blue yonder — no one expected it or even really know why and, at the end of the day, they want you to believe that the FBI search of the ex-president’s compound was nothing more than yet another partisan “Witch Hunt.”

But, like pretty much everything else that comes out of these peoples’ mouths, that’s just simply not true.

According to multiple inside sources, the former president received a clear-cut subpoena back in the Spring of this year, ordering him to turn over the remainder of the boxes of top-secret, confidential, and federally protected documents that he illegally removed from the White House at the end of his term that investigators believed were not handed over with the first batch of confidential material he turned back over to the National Archives.

This ultimately means that Donald Trump and his inner circle knew damn good and well what was being asked of them, and what the potential consequences would be, should they choose not to comply.

But nevertheless, that’s done nothing to staunch Trump Camp’s relentless and unhinged attacks against some of the nation’s top law enforcement agencies, the US Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In fact, numerous Republicans have essentially and ironically been calling for Congress to “Defund the Police,” following Monday’s raid — as apparently they only “Back the Blue” when the “Blue” is killing Black people.

But, according to new reporting from the New York Times, some of the ex-president’s allies are desperately trying to warn Republican lawmakers to cut the shit — because the potential for much more damning information against Trump regarding the Mar-a-Lago raid is still serious.

The Times reports:

Some senior Republicans have been warned by allies of Mr. Trump not to continue to be aggressive in criticizing the Justice Department and the F.B.I. over the matter because it is possible that more damaging information related to the search will become public.”

Good luck with that, frankly. When have you ever seen a Republican shut up?
