Ty Cobb represented Donald Trump during his first term, most notably during the era of the Robert Mueller investigation. Soon after, Cobb broke with Trump and has since emerged as a frequent critic of his former client.
Cobb did that again this week, attacking several of Trump’s top advisers and cabinet ministers, whom he called on to be impeached.
According to HuffPost, Cobb appeared on Ari Melber’s MS Now show to discuss the federal indictment of former CNN journalist Don Lemon. Cobb said on the show that if fraudulent indictments are made, it should lead to impeachments.
“Well, it should only be one,” Cobb told Melber on the show. “If there’s one fraudulent, unsupported indictment that’s brought for personal reasons, political reasons in which the facts are distorted, and the law is abused, that alone should be impeachable.”
This followed Attorney General Pam Bondi’s embarrassing performance before a Congressional committee last week. Cobb called for Bondi to face impeachment.
Cobb also said that in addition to Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche should be impeached as well, in relation to his “interview” with Ghislaine Maxwell.

And Cobb didn’t stop with calling for the impeachment of those two.
“Kristi Noem, who’s supervising the execution of American citizens and lying about them as being alleged terrorists,” Cobb said in the appearance. ““Hegseth and the multitude of classified violations that he has, as well as the war crimes being committed at his behest.”
“All of those people should be impeached,” Cobb added. “The $500 million bribe from the UAE in exchange for our AI chips, the $480 million plane from Qatar in exchange for an Air Force base, and him parking his Venezuela oil revenue account in Qatar,” said Cobb. “The facts here are just extraordinary and unprecedented.”
“This is not a matter of degree. This is a ripple in the force. Impeachment, however, is a weak tool in the hands of a Congress where you have people like [House Speaker] Mike Johnson and others who are willing to do whatever the president desires,” Cobb added.
