Last night, we all watched on bated breath as former President Donald Trump was whisked off the stage with blood on his face by multiple Secret Service agents at his Butler, Pennsylvania campaign rally after several loud pops rang out through the crowd in what has now been dubbed an assassination attempt on a former United States POTUS.
Reports have confirmed that Donald Trump was grazed in his right ear by a bullet.
Multiple sources, including the Trump Campaign, the US Secret Service, and the ex-president himself have all confirmed that Donald Trump is shaken, but in unharmed condition.
Butler County District Attorney Richard A Goldinger has also confirmed that the shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was “neutralized” on the scene, and one rally attendee lost their life.

However, in the aftermath of the violent shooting, people have begun to scrutinize and question some of the behaviors we saw out of Donald Trump’s Secret Service protective detail as they rushed the former president from the rally stage last night.
Donald Trump’s former campaign aide and senior advisor, A.J. Delgado, who is now staunchly anti-MAGA, was one of the first and most prominent to question the Secret Service’s response, calling their behavior “odd” and accusing them of leaving the ex-president “exposed” as they removed him from last night’s event.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) last night, Delgado questioned: “Apparently Trump has the most inept Secret Service in history. I am curious to hear from what must be a true samurai/ninja/sharp-shooter, to have gotten off so many shots before anyone realized what was happening. Shooter is in custody, right?”

In response to one of the well-timed photos that are now going viral across social media that shows Trump with his fist in the air, blood on his face, and Secret Service agents huddling around his torso but leaving his entire head fully exposed, Delgado wrote, “Looks to me like: Secret Service leaving Trump completely open/exposed for further shots. Yeah, I would LOVE someone to explain this. Not weird at all.”

Throughout the aftermath of the attack, Delgado continued to add to her thoughts and theories:
This is totally normal, you guys. Because when a presidential candidate has just been shot at, the first thing FOUR SS agents do is leave him COMPLETELY OPEN with his head and shoulders sticking out, ON A STAGE, WHERE HE HAS JUST BEEN SHOT.
NOTHING ODD HERE. https://t.co/sIT22MvNMO— A.J. Delgado (@AJDelgado13) July 13, 2024
Of course, we’ll never truly know what happened here. But it’s pretty safe to say that something is just… Off.
