After weeks of rumors, golf legend Tiger Woods has confirmed on social media that he is dating Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump, Jr., and the mother of his five children.
“Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,” Woods posted to both X and Instagram, along with pictures of himself with Vanessa.

According to NBC News, the two live in Florida, and Vanessa’s daughter Kai, a competitive golfer, attends school with Woods’ children.

Vanessa divorced Don Jr. in 2018, during his father’s first term as president; he dated former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle until last year. Woods split from his former wife, Elin Nordegren, in 2010, following a wave of scandals, and dated Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn for a time.
The Daily Mail this week reported on the “awkward phone call” between Woods and Elin in December, during which he informed her of his new relationship.
“It was a pleasant, almost friendly conversation,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “Her response at first was like, ‘Seriously? A Trump? For real?”

“Tiger knew it was going to get out eventually so he had to make the phone call to Elin before his love life ended up in the newspapers again,’ Woods’ friend told the Mail. “He’s made this call before about other women — but never like this.”
Woods has appeared with Trump various times over the years, including a golf round together in January. During his first term, Trump presented Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019 and has hosted Woods at the White House on other occasions; the two appear to have been close before Trump’s time in politics, due mainly to Trump’s involvement with the golf world. Trump, Page Six reported last week, “approves” of Woods dating his former daughter-in-law.
Ivanka Trump also appears to approve, commenting on the couple’s Instagram post, “So happy for you both!”
