Speaking to NBC News on Sunday, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz warned that President Donald Trump’s behavior has become deeply concerning. The governor said the president’s recent actions point to both physical and mental decline.

Walz was responding to Trump’s Thanksgiving rant in which he called the governor “seriously retarded” and falsely claimed he allowed “hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia” into Minnesota.

“This is not normal behavior. It’s not healthy,” Walz said. “Here we got a guy on Thanksgiving where we spent time with our families, we ate, we played Yahtzee, we cheered for football or whatever. This guy is apparently in a room ranting about everything else.”

The governor said Trump’s refusal to release his medical records adds to the concern. “It’s clear the president is fading physically,” he explained. “This guy’s mental capacity should be a serious cause for concern.”

Walz emphasized the weight of the presidency. “The presidency is the most powerful position in the world,” he said. “It’s ridiculous to see Trump throwing around slurs that demonize our children when he should be focused on helping the American people.”

He also called for transparency about Trump’s October MRI. “We need to see these medical tests,” Walz told newscaster Kristen Welker. “How can the public trust a president who won’t show his own medical records?”

According to Walz, Trump’s late-night posts and personal attacks are not just political mistakes. “He’s not solving any of the problems,” he said. “So, I’m deeply concerned he is incapable of doing the job.”

Walz’s warnings come amid growing public concern over Trump’s stamina and decision-making. Many Americans are now questioning whether the president can handle the responsibilities of the office.

Until Trump releases his MRI or other health information, uncertainty will continue. Each late-night post and angry rant fuels worries about the president’s ability to lead.
