Town Hall Audience Burts Into Laughter After Trump Claims He Hasn’t Made Any Mistakes

This isn’t funny anymore.

At a recent town hall, Donald Trump made a comment that had people laughing out loud. He claimed he hadn’t made any mistakes during his first 100 days back in office.

An audience member named Lee asked Trump what his biggest mistake was. Trump answered, “I don’t really believe I’ve made any mistakes.” The room burst into laughter. Even Bill O’Reilly, a former Fox News host, joked, “I think Lee is reassured.”

This moment wasn’t just funny—it was painful. Although Trump claims that things are great, the country is facing significant problems.

Let’s talk about the facts.

In just three months, the U.S. economy has gotten worse. This is the first time in 50 years that the economy has shrunk so early in a president’s term. That’s not a good sign.

The reason? Trump’s trade war with China. He added new tariffs that confused businesses and scared investors. The stock market has dropped. The S&P 500 is down 8%—the worst fall in a new president’s first 100 days in over 50 years.

Trump once stated that other countries would bear the cost of the tariffs. Now, he says Americans should “brace themselves.” Brace for what? Job cuts? Higher prices? Are people losing money in their retirement funds?

And it doesn’t stop with the economy.

Elon Musk, one of Trump’s leading advisors, started a program called DOGE. It has shut down many government offices, canceled major contracts, and wrongly terminated key workers. Some agencies are now attempting to rehire the same individuals they previously fired. It’s a big mess.

At the Pentagon, things are bad too. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is under investigation for mishandling secret documents. That puts the country at risk.

Immigration is also in trouble. Over 250 migrants were sent to a giant prison in El Salvador—with no court hearing. One of them, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, is a father from Maryland. He was taken from his family without a judge, without a lawyer, without justice.

Still, Trump claims everything is perfect.

But the courts don’t agree. Judges have blocked Trump’s actions more than 100 times already. That’s more court losses in 100 days than most presidents have in 4 years.

Even the people aren’t happy.

A Fox News poll found only 38% of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the economy. Just 33% support his tariff policy. And this is from Fox News—his favorite network.

But Trump keeps making big promises. “We’re going to make billions and billions of dollars,” he said at the town hall. “It will happen much faster than people understand.”

That may sound good, but experts say something different. Many fear a recession is coming. Companies are already losing trillions of dollars. The U.S. bond market is shaking—and that’s very rare.

Even Elon Musk has left the White House. That says a lot.

If this is just the beginning, what happens next?
