Add this to the list of Donald Trump’s health mysteries: Did the president undergo an MRI during a recent visit to Walter Reed hospital?

According to a recent X post by influencer Harry Sisson, Trump said during an October 27 press gaggle that he had an MRI at the medical hospital, and yes, per the president, “it was perfect.”

“I did. I got an MRI. It was perfect,” Trump said on Air Force One, when asked about the reason for his second visit of the year to Walter Reed.

“I gave you the full results. We had an MRI, and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect,” the president said. He went on to tell reporters to “ask the doctors” about the specifics of the examination and results.

“I think they gave you a very conclusive – nobody has ever given you reports like I gave you. And if I didn’t think it was going to be good, either, I would let you know negatively; I wouldn’t run. I’d do something. But the doctor said some of the best reports for the age, some of the best reports they’ve ever seen,” the president said in the availability. The visit took place on October 8.

There have been occasional questions throughout Trump’s first year back in office about his health, both involving the mysterious bruising on his hand as well as his large ankles. The White House has announced that the president has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.

Earlier reports had stated that Trump had undergone “advanced imaging,” but not that he had had an MRI specifically.

Per CNN, “The president claimed that his doctors offered reporters a “very conclusive” report of the exam, but the White House has not previously disclosed the reason for his unusual second visit, a departure from the traditional presidential cadence of a single comprehensive exam per year.”
