Trump Actually Just Compared Himself To “The Late, Great” Al Capone In Unhinged Meltdown Over Prosecutor Investigations

Apparently getting caught in photos with notorious members of the mob isn’t enough for Donald Trump — he wants to be just like them.

The scandal-ridden former president has been on a bit of a bender this morning, kicking off his Monday with an announcement about his pride in the fact that he put more faith and trust in heinous Russian dictator Vladimir Putin than he did in US “intelligence lowlifes” and “slime” throughout his presidential term.

But wouldn’t you know, that was far from the only thing he had in him this morning.

Taking back to his struggling Truth Social platform, Trump proceeded to have an absolute meltdown on the prosecutors who continue to investigate him for his variety of crimes and even went so far as to compare himself to the infamous mob boss Al Capone.

The beginning of Trump’s Truth Social meltdown began much like the rest, with the former guy positively raging against the law enforcement investigations that he says are being “weaponized” against him as part of a plot against him by his “Deep State” enemies across the country.

But things quickly went sideways, because honestly when do they not with this guy?

“Because of the Weaponization, Targeting, and Unprecedented Harassment, I believe that I have more lawyers working for me on this Corrupt Law Enforcement induced Bull…. than any human being in the history of our Country, including even the late great gangster, Alphonse Capone!” Trump raged in his Truth Social post. “This is all being done for POLITICAL REASONS in that I am leading everybody, Republicans & Democrats, by big numbers in the Polls. The Disinformation Specialists are at it again, full time. The Fake News is their TOOL!”

Funnily enough, Trump’s comparison between himself and Capone is at least somewhat on point, given that the notorious Prohibition-era gangster evaded prosecution for years and years, before he was finally nabbed, indicted, and convicted on charges related to tax evasion — though, experts and law enforcement officials have all but confirmed that Capone’s crimes were far wider reaching than what he actually served time for.

Trump, ironically enough, is currently facing investigations from the United States Department of Justice, led by special counsel Jack Smith, as well as investigations from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and New York Attorney General Letitia James, some of which are in relation to alleged tax evasion through his family company, the Trump Organization.
