Trump Announces That He Won’t Be Throwing The Opening Pitch For The Yankees And The Internet Has Thoughts: “Even With No Crowd He’s Too Much Of A Coward”

No one believes you, dude.

Donald Trump said during a White House coronavirus briefing on Thursday that he spoke to Yankees President Randy Levine about throwing out the first pitch on Aug. 15th when the Yankees take on the Red Sox — and now the president has unleashed a tweet to say he won’t take part in the event. We’re pretty sure that we know why, and that Trump is lying. Trump doesn’t want to see athletes kneeling.

“It’s great that baseball is back, and other sports are back. I hope everyone’s standing; I hope they’re not going to be kneeling when the flag is raised. I don’t like to see that,” Trump said on The Sean Hannity Show Thursday night.

Also, Trump would be throwing the first pitch with the stands completely empty with no audience.  At any rate, after playing golf this weekend, Trump said he was working too hard to throw the first pitch.

Twitter users don’t believe him.

This is what Trump is afraid of:

For all we know, Trump wasn’t invited to throw the first pitch to begin with, and now he’s saying that he has to cancel because he’s working on fighting a disease that he again just mislabeled.
