He never plays fair

A new video of President Donald Trump playing golf in Scotland is causing a stir. The clip shows his caddie walking ahead and tossing a ball into the light rough near a bunker. Moments later, Trump pulls up in a cart and takes his shot from that exact spot.

Now people online are calling it out. They say the former president got caught cheating at golf, a sport he claims to love and dominate.

The video was taken during Trump’s Saturday round at Turnberry. As the footage spread, social media lit up with fresh anger and laughter. For some, it was just more proof that Trump always finds a way to twist the rules in his favor.

This isn’t the first time people have said Trump cheats on the course. Rick Reilly, a longtime sports writer, once played with him and later wrote a whole book about it. The book, titled Commander in Cheat, accuses Trump of everything from moving his ball to lying about scores and even taking other players’ shots.

Reilly said Trump once bragged he “cannot lose” and will “do anything to cheat.”

Now it seems he is still living up to that reputation.

What makes this story even louder is the timing. Trump was in Scotland for official meetings with EU and UK leaders. But instead of focusing on trade or foreign policy, he has spent much of the trip golfing at his courses in Turnberry and Aberdeen.

Several Democrats were quick to point that out. They say while the world watches wars and rising food prices, Trump is busy lining up putts and swinging away.

Even so, Trump did manage to announce a major deal. Standing next to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, he said the United States and European Union had reached a new agreement. The deal includes a fifteen percent tariff on most EU exports, including cars.
