Donald Trump hosted a rally for his MAGA supporters in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon, in a state that he lost narrowly in 2016 on the eve of the Democratic caucuses there. At one point, Trump introduced the crowd to members of the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” U.S. Olympic hockey team, with some of them sporting “Make America Great Again” hats. The group included Mike Eruzione, who Trump referred to as the goalie, but Eruzione was a forward.

Trump joked, as usual, about serving more than two terms, and then, of course, he lashed out at the media. Trump once again to a shot at Bong Joon-ho’s movie Parasite, the South Korean film that won Best Picture at the Oscars this year.  Trump said all of that with the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team standing right behind him.

It’s well known that Trump cheats at golf, and why not? He cheats at elections, too. Trump invited a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team on stage and urged him to tell the crowd what a great golfer he is.

“Just tell them, ‘Am I a good athlete?’” the 73-year-old obese president said. “And am I a good golfer?”

“You are, yes sir,” Eruzione replied. “Whatever you say.”

Watch:

Last year, sportswriter Rick Reilly, who has known Trump for 30 years, explained what a notorious cheat the president is at golf.

“Donald Trump is the worst cheat ever and he doesn’t care who knows,” Reilly said. “I always say golf is like bicycle shorts. It reveals a lot about a man. And golf reveals a lot of ugliness in this president.”

“Kicking your ball so often the caddies call you Pelé? I so hate that. Most of all I hate how stupid he’s making my country look. I hate what he’s doing to my planet,” said the former Sports Illustrated columnist, has written a book called Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump. “I hate what he’s doing to kids at the border. I don’t mind Republicans. I just can’t stand this guy. I love golf and he has set the game back 30 years. Just when it was becoming cool with Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler we get this fat bozo cheating his ass off.”

That would explain the hockey player’s nervous laughter when answering Trump’s dumb question.
