Well, that was a bit much.

Donald Trump’s notorious attorney Joe Tacopina appeared to get quite literally physical with MSNBC’s Ari Melber during an appearance on a network segment after the host brought up the apparent lie that his ex-presidential client had no knowledge of the infamous Stormy Daniels hush money payment, and proceeded to read to the Trump attorney straight from the proverbial receipts, as proof that Tacopina and his client were busted in a bald-faced lie.

Melber kicked off the MSNBC segment with footage of Donald Trump on a plane, where he was confronted and asked by reporters regarding the infamous hush money payments and, more specifically, whether he personally knew about them. In the video clip, Trump asserted that he did not know about the notorious payments made to adult film star and his alleged former affair partner, Stormy Daniels, in the weeks just before the 2016 presidential election.

Tacopina immediately told the MSNBC host that Trump’s comment about his lack of knowledge regarding the payments was not a lie.

“That’s not a lie?!” Melber nearly shouted out in response.

“That’s not a lie,” Tacopina once again asserted.

At that point, Melber pulled out his receipts and began to read from the transcripts of the video, prompting the Trump attorney to all but lose his entire damn mind. Tacopina lunged at Melber as he held the transcript papers in his hands, shouting, “Put that down!”

As the attorney attempted to snatch the pages from the MSNBC host’s hands, he shouted, “Give me that!”

Melber himself appeared to mock the whole debacle when he posted a still from the segment with Tacopina on Twitter, captioning it simply, “interviews.”
