As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, (who hasn’t?) agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant raid on ex-President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home/resort in Palm Beach, Florida, last night.
The raid was confirmed by Trump himself in a statement that was delivered to CNN following the news, as well as in a statement through his Save America PAC that was posted across social media.
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home… is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has happened to a President of the United States before… They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat [sic] National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States,” Trump fumed in the statement that confirmed the FBI raid at his Palm Beach complex. “The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!”
“The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped,” Trump screamed in the unhinged, fear-laden statement. “I will continue to fight for the Great American People!”

Now, one attorney for the scandal-ridden ex-president has broken her silence on the bombshell development, publicly objecting to the raid on the basis that her client, Donald Trump, is “extremely cooperative,” and even going so far as to seemingly suggest that FBI officials may have planted something on the former president’s complex during the raid.
Trump attorney Christina Bobb sat down for an interview on Real America’s Voice and stated that she was present at Trump’s Mar-Lago resort/home when FBI officials came in to execute their search warrant, but “was not allowed to observe.”
“I was his legal representation, his counsel on the ground there,” Bobb said. “They kept me out of everything, all the facilities. They say that’s standard protocol. I could not see. I could not observe.”
“I thought it was particularly alarming because we had been very cooperative,” she added. “This is a Washington, D.C. case coming out of Joe Biden’s Department of Justice. We’ve been extremely cooperative.”
Host Karyn Turk brought up the notion of whether the FBI had “planted” something on Trump’s property.
“Nobody observed it,” Bobb whined, seemingly confirming the idea of possible planted evidence. “No, there wasn’t. To your point, this was a completely unnecessary power flex. It was a weird flex. It’s quite honestly sad to see what they have done to our country.”
Speculations have swirled that the FBI was all but forced to raid the former president’s country club, because he has a recorded history of refusing to comply with subpoenas issued against him.
At one point in his presidency, Trump proudly declared, “We’re fighting all the subpoenas.”
In the days and months since leaving the White House, the former president has been found in contempt of court and ordered to pay steep fines as a result of his refusal to comply with subpoenas issued against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James, in connection to her investigation into his family company, the Trump Organization.
