Apparently, Donald Trump’s delusions have officially taken over, as Axios reported on remarks he made to reporters over the weekend, in which the scandal-ridden ex-president bizarrely implied that he’s already off the hook in the infamous hush money case, as he claimed to believe that the Manhattan District Attorney has already “dropped” his “fake” case into the alleged 2016 payment Trump is said to have ordered to adult film star and former affair partner, Stormy Daniels, in the weeks before the election that Donald would go on to win.
The disgraced former president, who is currently facing down a wide variety of investigations and lawsuits from a wide variety of entities and jurisdictions, made the rather eyebrow-raising remarks to reporters while boarding his plane after his controversial rally in Waco, Texas, this weekend.
Following his 2024 campaign rally in Waco, Trump stopped to speak with a gaggle of reporters as he boarded his plane, confidently, if not bizarrely, telling the media, “I think they’ve already dropped the case. It’s a fake case. Some fake cases, they have absolutely nothing.”
This is yet another example of Donald Trump blatantly contradicting himself.

When speaking to reporters, the scandal-ridden ex-president is clearly desperately trying to exude a narcissistic level of confidence, attempting to convey that he’s not worried in the slightest about the investigation or the widely expected impending indictment, because he’s a perfect specimen of a human being that’s truly done nothing wrong in his life.
But Trump himself has a terrible tendency to betray himself when he gets worked up, angry, and panicked and ends up taking to his Truth Social account to air that out, posting things like this:
They have absolutely no case. The only witnesses are against their so-called ‘star’ witness, a serial liar, convicted felon, and disbarred lawyer. (Referencing his former personal attorney and self-described “fixer,” Michael Cohen) I did nothing wrong, and they know it. This, and everything else that they are doing with the DOJ-led Witch Hunt, is all about ELECTION INTERFERENCE, their new and ‘highly sophisticated’ method of cheating on Elections!”
That social media post, coupled with the countless others in the same vein we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks, is nothing short of the ramblings of a demented, terrified man who knows his days as a free and clear American are rapidly coming to an end.
Following Trump’s bizarre remarks to reporters this weekend, the New York Post reported:
A spokesperson for Bragg, a Democrat, declined to comment Sunday on Trump’s remarks but pointed to an unrelated Saturday statement that referred to the Daniels hush money probe as ‘an ongoing matter.'”
