Former President Donald Trump isn’t taking the news very well that a second subpoena was issued by a congressional committee investigating his administration’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Politico reports that the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis “is probing whether former Trump administration officials mishandled the federal response to the pandemic, specifically whether it interfered with its own health agencies’ work and how it attempted to change its messaging to downplay the threats posed by the virus.”
Unsurprisingly, the twice-impeached one-term president called it a “witch hunt,” in a statement tweeted out by his spokesperson Liz Harrington to circumvent his ban on the behemoth social site. Trump claimed that his administration’s response to the Covid pandemic was “unprecedented and incredible” even though the former president shamelessly held super-spreader events, danced to YMCA while Americans were dying, and mocked protective face masks as well as social distancing guidelines.
The former president continued to say, “It is a Witch Hunt that’s been going on for years. Why don’t they investigate Crooked Hillary, when so much has now been proven about her and her campaign’s lies and dealings with Russia to smear me and spy on my campaign?” He then accused “unhinged Democrats” of trying to discredit his “great accomplishments.”
“The Witch Hunts must end,” he added.

Well, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton has been investigated for 30 years. And after the Benghazi attacks, Hillary Clinton sat under oath for eleven hours straight without breaking a sweat. The lady has brass ovaries. In contrast, Trump doesn’t appear to have the guts to do half of what Clinton did when Republicans grilled her. She knew she wasn’t guilty, so she testified. Trump, on the other hand, has a lot to hide — even his taxes.
