Trump Erupts With 46 Posts In Bizarre Two-Hour Social Media Spree

Donald Trump goes on a lot of Truth Social tirades, but they usually come either late at night or early in the morning. His series of posts on Wednesday was unusual because it included more posts than usual and arrived during daylight work hours.

According to The Daily Beast, the president “apparently found a two-hour break in his schedule to fire off 46 posts in rapid succession on Truth Social. They covered topics ranging from this week’s South Carolina Senate primary to a Wall Street Journal op-ed about Scott Bessent’s sanctions threat to Iran, to his outrage that Roger Clemens is not in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

One post involved Trump disagreeing with a Trump social media acolyte, Matt Van Swol, who had complained that Trump was screwing up the midterm elections, by posting a long list of accomplishments:

Trump also posted various before-and-after pictures of Washington, D.C., and what he’s done to the city compared to how it looked when Joe Biden was president:

He also trashed Rep. Ralph Norman, who ran for Senate in South Carolina but lost to the Trump-endorsed candidate, Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC). “Ralph Norman had the look of a good Congressman (Not great, but good), but ruined his career when he endorsed Nikki Haley,” Trump said.

Trump also took time out of his busy schedule to defend Clemens, the 1980s and ’90s pitcher who is not in the Hall of Fame, largely because he is widely believed to have used performance-enhancing drugs.

“How about Roger Clemens not being in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York, all because a bunch of jealous people with far less Talent, voted that he shouldn’t be there,” Trump wrote of Clemens. “He was also not convicted, or admitted, to taking Drugs. Roger is easily one of the few Greatest Pitchers of All Time, winning 354 Games, 7 Cy Young Awards (A Record, by 3!), and played in three World Series, winning two! He was third in most Strike-Outs. The Commissioner told me he was going to approve Pete Rose, but he waited long enough until Pete died. No wonder Baseball is in trouble!”

The Commissioner of baseball, contrary to Trump’s assertion, does not have the power to “approve” people for the Hall of Fame.
