On Saturday, “NO KINGS” protests were held around the country, where, per the official NO KINGS organization, nearly 7 million people were in attendance.
“Nearly seven million Americans gathered today, 2 million more than in June, in over 2,700 cities and towns for the No Kings Day of Peaceful Action, standing together in nonviolent defiance of authoritarianism and affirming that this nation belongs to its people, not to kings,” the organization said. Furthermore, after MAGA supporters spent a week alleging that the protests are violent, there were no significant incidents reported around the country on Saturday.
Asked about the protests while on Air Force One on Sunday, President Trump downplayed the protests.
Trump on the massive No Kings protest across the country:
I looked at the people, they’re not representative of this country. It looks like it was paid by Soros. It was very small & ineffective..I’m not a king. I work my ass off to make our country great pic.twitter.com/bWGsdH74KL
