In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump lashed out at Iran while warning that the country could soon face another powerful military strike. Trump claimed Tehran was already on the losing side in the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, calling it “the loser of the Middle East.”

“Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore,” Trump wrote.

According to the president, Iran made that promise only because of what he described as relentless pressure from U.S. and Israeli attacks.

Trump also took aim at Iran in his message, claiming the country has lost its influence and power in the region. “Iran is no longer the ‘Bully of the middle east,’ they are, instead, ‘The loser of the middle east,’ and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse!” he wrote.

The president also warned that Iran could soon face another round of attacks, saying the country “will be hit very hard.”

His remarks came after Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, addressed neighboring countries about the war and apologized for recent strikes on them, while also saying his country would not surrender and would only avoid attacks on neighbors unless they were attacked first.

“The enemies must take their wish for the surrender of the Iranian people to their graves,” he said.

Still, Iran’s leadership tried to calm fears among neighboring countries. Pezeshkian said an interim leadership council agreed that Iran would not launch more missiles or attacks against nearby nations unless those countries attack Iran first.

Even with that statement, the fighting continues.

Trump has repeatedly demanded what he calls “unconditional surrender” from Iran. He says that is the only way the war will end.

The president also said that if Iran gives in and installs new leadership, the United States and its allies would help rebuild the country’s economy.

Trump said the goal would be to bring Iran “back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.”

Meanwhile, officials in Washington suggested that military operations could still grow larger. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said during a television interview that the “biggest bombing campaign” of the war may still be ahead.

The United States and Israel have carried out multiple strikes targeting Iran’s military network, key leaders, and nuclear program, causing heavy losses across the region.

Officials report at least 1,230 deaths in Iran, more than 200 in Lebanon, and 11 in Israel, with six U.S. service members also killed. Early Saturday, explosions were reported in Dubai, adding to the growing tensions in the area.
