If former First Daughter and Trump spawn, Ivanka Trump, was sitting around with high hopes that her daddy with pin her as his running mate when he finally officially tosses his hat into the 2024 presidential election ring, it seems she better think again — because when a reporter recently questioned him about the notion of his eldest daughter as VP, daddy dearest responded with a painfully awkward answer that didn’t speak highly to her chances of returning to the White House in a more official role.
Recently, former President Trump spoke with India’s NDTV, where he once again claimed to have imminent plans to officially announce his 2024 presidential candidacy, adding that people will be “very happy” about the news of his announcement when it finally comes. (Assumably when he’s at a point where he can afford for the Republican National Committee to stop footing the bill for his mounting legal fees among his neverending scandal these days.)
At one point in the interview, the host questioned the washed-up, scandal-ridden former guy about the possibility of his eldest daughter serving as his running mate in the 2024 election, and as his vice president, should he actually win this time.
Trump’s response didn’t seem as though he was fond of the idea of his favorite daughter serving as his right hand in the White House.

“Ivanka? My daughter? Never thought of that one,” Trump responded. “I’ve never even heard but that’s an interesting idea.”
“That one I have not heard of, but she’s a very capable person that I can tell you. But no, I have not heard that one,” he went on to add.
The notion of Ivanka Trump serving alongside her father as his vice president isn’t a new one, it’s been floating around since way back in Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign days, but of course, never came to any sort of fruition. Some reports have claimed that Ivanka personally shut down the idea, while Trump himself has previously denied any reports or rumors that he was even considering her.
