To be fair, Donald Trump is going through a lot right now. The big guy is neck-deep in his infamous Manhattan Stormy Daniels Hush Money trial, where he faces a staggering 34 felony charges of falsifying business records with a jury decision expected basically any moment now. And, of course, if the Hush Money fiasco doesn’t land him behind bars, the other two massive criminal cases being spearheaded against him by Special Counsel Jack Smith and the US Department of Justice — including the January 6th/2020 elections crimes case and the notorious Mar-a-Lago stolen documents case — may just do it, considering he’s facing charges that include violations of the Espionage Act and literal insurrection.
And all of the above isn’t even bringing Fani Willis into play.
Suffice it to say, I would certainly imagine that the big guy’s got a whole hell of a lot on his mind right now. Yet, when we’ve seen him in public here lately, it seems as though the only thing he’s got rattling in that brain of his is a bunch of bumble bees and a few chewed-up pieces of bubblegum — because the dude’s being *extra* weird.
Earlier this week, over the Memorial Day weekend, we all had the deep pleasure of witnessing Donnie at the NASCAR Coca Cola 600 event in North Carolina, where he awkwardly waved out to a crowd of literally non-existent people (as in, he was waving and there was *literally* no one there):

Only to later raise his hand to his head in an awkward salute while “Amazing Grace” played over the speakers:

Both of these instances over the weekend unsurprisingly had Americans once again questioning Donald’s cognitive abilities — or, perhaps, the lack thereof.
Those questions and opinions have only grown exponentially in the days since the NASCAR fiasco, as the former president has once again been caught on video giving a very bizarre and out-of-context salute — this time to what appears to be a military cargo plane — something that doesn’t even remotely require a salute.

As expected, the comments were ripe, with some people even questioning whether Trump’s being intentionally weird and ditzy in an effort to secure himself an insanity plea in his various criminal cases:
