Trump Has Thursday Morning Meltdown Over Poll Numbers, Attacks Fox News

Always online, never in charge. Embarrassing.

On Thursday morning, Trump posted a furious rant on his Truth Social platform, lashing out over what he called “fake” and “biased” polling. His main target was Fox News, the very outlet he once praised as his biggest supporter.

“The Crooked FoxNews Polls got the Election WRONG, I won by much more than they said I would,” Trump wrote. “They are always wrong and negative. It’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews, even though their anchors are GREAT.”

He slammed a new Fox poll that gave him just over 50 percent support on border issues. That number, in his view, was way too low.

“Now a new FoxNews poll comes out this morning giving me a little more than 50% at the Border, and yet the Border is miraculously perfect, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO COME IN LAST MONTH,” he claimed.

He then compared himself to President Biden again, saying, “60,000 people came in with Sleepy Joe in the same month last year.”

This meltdown, however, didn’t surprise anyone who has watched Trump obsess over numbers for years. Whether it’s crowd sizes, TV ratings, or poll results, Trump seems unable to handle anything less than glowing praise.

But this time, even loyal conservatives were confused. After all, Trump is the sitting president. His energy should be on calming global fears, not fighting with Fox News about polls.

X user Thabiso Makgalemele summed it up perfectly: “Your Greatest ally is burning right now and is toying with World War 3, and you are worried about poll numbers. Classic Trump. Art of the criticism.”

Another user, @chucktheeegreat, wrote, “Bro has WW3 to worry about but is tweeting about fox news polls. someone get Dementia Don out of the WH and into a nursing home already.”

Some reminded him that the past is over, and he should act like a leader now.

“Bro still going on about election back in November 🤣🤣 buddy… your the president now GET TO WORK,” wrote CalzoTR.

Even Trump’s repeated use of “I hate FAKE pollsters” didn’t do him any favors. At a time when America is facing serious challenges abroad, his focus on numbers looked small and self-centered.

With his own base divided and the world on edge, the last thing the country needs is another tantrum from the Oval Office. But sadly, that’s exactly what we got.
