An unsettling new report from Axios confirmed that scandal-plagued and multi-time-indicted former President Donald Trump is already in the process of drawing up plans to leverage the Department of Justice to criminally prosecute Joe Biden and his family, should he be successful in returning to the White House for a second term in 2024.
House Republicans have been desperately attempting to impeach current President Biden basically since the day he took office and, of course, their efforts only multiplied once the GOP secured their slim margin of control in the US House of Representatives. However, their efforts have repeatedly failed — due in large part to the fact that the GOP’s “star witness” against the Bidens, touted by the likes of House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Alexander Smirnov, was just recently arrested for allegedly lying to the FBI.
Shortly after his arrest, reports began to surface that alleged Smirnov’s supposed intel was actually coming straight from Russian intelligence sources, essentially blowing all the air of the Republicans’ already lackluster attempts to bring the president to his knees.
However, Axios’ Stephen Neukam now reports that, according to inside sources, ex-President and 2024 Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and his allies aren’t relying on the efforts by the House to dismantle Joe Biden. instead, Trump and his people are already concocting a plan to utilize the Justice Department to launch an onslaught of criminal investigation into the Bidens if Trump makes a successful comeback in the impending election.

Neukam writes, “Republicans’ impeachment probe of President Biden is unraveling because of a lack of evidence — but their work could become the basis for federal investigations and even prosecutions of the Biden family if Donald Trump wins reelection, Axios has learned. Why it matters: Trump has vowed retribution against his enemies if he wins in November.”
“House Republicans have struggled to show Biden has done anything illegal, but people close to Trump are still plotting to use the Justice Department against Biden and his family,” the report goes on to explain.
Neukam describes his source as “close to the Trump campaign,” who told Axios, “Everything you have seen from the Biden DOJ, you can expect to see from the Trump DOJ.”
The report goes on to note that Comer has already made public calls for a DOJ investigation into the Bidens, should Trump secure a victory in November.
In fact, the House Oversight Committee Chairman pushed out a fundraising email recently that read: “When President Trump returns to the White House, it’s critical the new leadership at the DOJ have everything they need to prosecute the Biden Crime Family and deliver swift justice.”
As it stands, a Trump 2024 victory is far from out of the question, despite his absolute mountain of legal trouble, as multiple polls have shown very slim margins between the two candidates.
