Disgraced former President Donald Trump has seemingly come to one of two realizations over the last few weeks — either he finally, truly understands that a criminal indictment against him is, in fact, very real and very imminent, or he has made solid note of the very real fact that capitalizing on that looming indictment, whether he believes it to be a real possibility or not, will stand to gain him a lot of PR attention and a lot more campaign donations that he desperately needs these days.
Either way, the scandal-ridden ex-president has cranked up the horrifyingly violent rhetoric and calls to action towards his base of rabid supporters to such a level that millions of Americans are growing very rightfully concerned that we’re soon to face January 6th Part II.
Trump recently took it upon himself to publicly, prematurely, and very dramatically declared in a Truth Social post that he expected to be arrested on charges related to the Manhattan hush money case in just a matter of days. Of course, that indictment has yet to come and isn’t showing any signs of coming any time soon, as the jury hearing evidence breaks for the next month, pushing any possible decisions out to at least late April. But nevertheless, the former president has hammered hard on the notion of persecution against him.
Donald stoked those flames even higher this week when he took to his struggling Truth Social platform with a screenshot of a post made by one of his devout supporters, Wayne Allyn Root, that featured a headline reading, “Democrats Want to Indict & Arrest President Trump. They Want a War? Let’s Give It To Them.”

The link included in the post directed users to a lie-filled, Right-wing commentary piece that urged “red city DAs and red state AGs” to arrest a list of Democratic political figures and high-level names longer than my leg — including the likes of Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, George Soros, former AG Eric Holder, Mark Zuckerberg, Speaker Emeritus Nancy Pelosi, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden, VP Kamala Harris, and Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas.
As we’ve all seen in recent weeks, Trump is genuinely losing his mind over the looming Manhattan hush money indictment, but that’s frankly far from the only thing the disgraced former president is facing. In addition to DA Bragg’s investigation into the infamous alleged Stormy Daniels payment, Donald Trump also continues to face a massive lawsuit from New York Attorney General Letitia James with regarding to financial crimes within his personal family company, as well as a criminal investigation by Fulton County DA Fanni Willis into alleged election crimes in the state of Georgia, and the ongoing DOJ Special Counsel investigations into Trump’s role in inciting the January 6th attack, his overall efforts to overthrow a US presidential election, and the infamous Mar-a-Lago stolen classified document scandal.
It seems he’s just realized that he’ll get the most attention from the Manhattan mess at present time.
