Trump Held A “Tele-Rally” For VA Candidate That He Endorsed Who Allegedly Refused To Attend

That's brutal.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, former President Donald Trump has recently had his knickers all in a twist over Virginia gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin. Lately, he’s released statements trying to claim that he’s pretty close to the GOP candidate, and the pair share a lot of views and beliefs.

However, it seems as though if you were to ask Youngkin, he wouldn’t tell the same tale.

Yesterday, the disgraced, desperate, one-term, twice-impeached former guy held a “tele-rally” for Youngkin in an effort to get out ahead of the votes in today’s gubernatorial election in Virginia. Washington Post reporter Laura Vozzella revealed on Twitter yesterday that the pre-election virtual event would be closed to the press:

That alone was enough to make people wonder what was going on at this little “tele-rally” and why they wouldn’t want it reported on. But, as it turns out, it seems as though it may be because Youngkin doesn’t want to be caught dead anywhere near the washed-up former President.

According to further reporting,  the Republican pair ended up the center of quite a bit of mockery when it was discovered that Youngkin refused to even join the “tele-rally” event with Donald Trump — apparently not wanting to be seen anywhere near the guy, even on a Zoom conference call.

The jokes on Twitter were plentiful:

Just one question, Donnie. Do you ever get tired of being such a monumental embarrassment? Just curious.
