Trump Humiliated As Truth Social Users Turn On Him In Stunning Revolt

Fans finally read the posts

Donald Trump built Truth Social in 2022 after getting kicked off every real platform, a cozy corner of the internet where his fans could cheer his every post without interruption.

That worked fine until he threatened to wipe out a civilization and the cheering stopped.

Analysis by The New York Times found thousands of Trump supporters lashing out on Truth Social over his Iran war posts, responding with anger and disappointment. Many accused him of betraying his America First promises.

The posts that broke them were the Easter Sunday threat to destroy Iranian power plants and bridges, signed off with “Praise be to Allah,” and then Tuesday morning’s “a whole civilization will die tonight.” That second one was the dam breaking.

“Even if it was a joke, you’re actually so immature it’s sad and I voted for you twice,” wrote one account with the username Trumpwillsaveus2024. The username aged poorly.

One user who backed Trump “100%” accused him of a “lust for blood.” A self-described “Trump loving conservative” said she was “honestly heartbroken.”

A third wrote: “You’re utterly destroying your presidency with this nonsense. It’s probably too late to course correct.”

Then Trump announced the ceasefire. That broke a different group entirely. MAGA supporters who had backed military action turned on him for backing down, calling the move weak and saying the entire escalation had “made zero sense.”

Trump lost both sides of his own base in the same week. Impressive, in a way.

The revolt extended well beyond Truth Social. Tucker Carlson delivered a 43-minute monologue calling Trump’s Iran rhetoric morally corrupt and evil.

Joe Rogan, who endorsed Trump in 2024, called the Iran war “insane” and said supporters feel “betrayed.”

Candace Owens called Trump “a genocidal lunatic” and demanded the 25th Amendment.

Alex Jones, who has spent years insisting Trump could do no wrong, suggested on air that Trump had either “got demon possessed” or “had an aneurysm.” “We don’t know,” Jones said. “But it’s a new guy.” When Alex Jones thinks you have gone too far, something has gone very wrong.

Republican strategist Kevin Madden estimated that 15 to 25% of Trump’s MAGA coalition now shares these concerns. Heading into 2026, he warned, losing even a fraction of the base is “problematic” when base motivation drives everything.

The numbers support that.

A Fox News poll showed Trump’s Republican approval dropped to 84%, his lowest of the second term, down from 92% last March. Non-MAGA Republicans drove the decline, falling 11 points from 70% to 59%.
