Donald Trump spent a good portion of his Sunday afternoon appearing to distract himself from his mountain of legal woes and the impending fraud deadline in New York by taking to his Truth Social platform to brag about winning not one, but two golf tournament trophies.
However, we’re willing to bet that his distraction tactic didn’t really work out after all, considering he got brutally roasted and trolled across social media over his less-than-humble brag, due to the fact that these big trophies of his came from his own Trump-owned golf resorts.
“It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!” Trump declared in his Truth Social post yesterday evening.
“A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting. The qualifying and match play was amazing. A large and distinguished group will be there tonight. Very exciting, thank you!!!”
