Bombshell reporting recently broke from the New York Times, confirming that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has officially sent a signal to scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump’s legal team, indicating that an official indictment against the ex-president is on the horizon and his attorneys should get prepared. The indictment would be in relation to the Manhattan DA’s office’s ongoing investigation into the infamous hush money payments made to adult film star and alleged former Trump affair partner Stormy Daniels, as well as another woman, during the final stages of Donald’s 2016 presidential campaign, in an effort to buy the womens’ silence regarding their alleged sexual history with the then-Republican candidate, so as not to harm his election chances.
Times journalists William K. Rashbaum, Ben Protess, and Jonah E. Bromwich report, “The prosecutors offered Mr. Trump the chance to testify next week before the grand jury that has been hearing evidence in the potential case, the people said. Such offers almost always indicate an indictment is close; it would be unusual for the district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, to notify a potential defendant without ultimately seeking charges against him. In New York, potential defendants have the right to answer questions in the grand jury before they are indicted, but they rarely testify, and Mr. Trump is likely to decline the offer. His lawyers could also meet privately with the prosecutors in hopes of fending off criminal charges.”
Already, Donald Trump is not handling this news well.
Taking to his struggling Truth Social platform in the direct aftermath of the bombshell news, Trump effectively came unhinged, seemingly putting his fear and panic of what’s to come on full display, for all the world to see.

“I did absolutely nothing wrong,” Trump opened his Truth Social response to the likely impending indictment against him. “I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I have wanted to have an affair with Stormy Daniels.”
The scandal-ridden former president went on to try to claim that he’s once again a victim and the Manhattan DA’s case against him is actually just a ploy “to take down the leading candidate,” for 2024.
“This is a political Witch-Hunt, trying to take down the leading candidate, by far, in the Republican Party,” he raged.
The entire statement was quite literally paragraphs long and possibly one of, if not the most unhinged thing we’ve ever seen come out of the scandal-ridden former guy:
There’s simply no denying at this point that Donald Trump is panicking. They’re coming for him and he knows it.
