He’s clearly panicking

No calm, no class. It’s just Trump lashing out in the sky.

Massive tariffs on other countries that are now hurting the U.S. economy. The result? Over $2 trillion has been wiped from the American market since Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs were announced last week. The S&P dropped 10.5% in just two days and is expected to fall even more.

This is not a standard economic strategy. It’s financial chaos.

When Hordern tried to follow up on her question later, Trump did what he usually does—he dodged.

“Who are you with?” he asked, and when she said Bloomberg, he dismissed her:
“She asks too many questions.”

So much for transparency.

It’s becoming a pattern. When journalists ask tough questions, Trump doesn’t answer—he attacks. This isn’t just rude. It’s dangerous for democracy. A free press is essential, and we should all be concerned when a president tries to silence it.

But let’s talk about these tariffs for a second. Tariffs are taxes placed on goods from other countries. In theory, they’re meant to protect American businesses. But when used recklessly, they backfire. Countries hit with tariffs usually hit back with their own. This leads to trade wars, and that’s exactly what’s happening now.

Trump bragged that he spoke to world leaders who were “dying to make a deal.” But he also admitted, “Unless we solve [the trade deficit], I’m not going to make a deal.”

He’s gambling with the economy. And we’re the ones paying the price.

Even the deal over TikTok fell apart because Trump was obsessed with tariffs. Trump said, “If I had given a little cut in tariffs, they would have approved that deal in 15 minutes.”

But instead of compromise, Trump went full scorched-earth.

Remember, Trump once told us trade wars were “easy to win.” Now, the stock market is in free fall, businesses are panicking, and world leaders are shaking their heads.

And when reporters ask why, Trump throws tantrums.

A president who calls a valid question “stupid” doesn’t want to answer it. It’s not about the question. It’s about his fear of being exposed.

We should all be worried when a leader can’t handle accountability. And we should be even more worried when that same leader is recklessly playing with the global economy.

It’s not “taking medicine.” It’s lighting the house on fire and calling it therapy.

This isn’t strong leadership. This is ego-driven chaos. Trump isn’t fixing anything. He’s making everything worse—markets, media, and trust in government.
