It seems yet another Trump attorney has thrown up their hands and formally pulled out of the ex-president’s waning legal team, as Donald’s legal troubles mount to a fever pitch all around him, according to breaking reporting from the New York Times.

Key, now-former Trump legal team attorney Joseph Tacopina has formally withdrawn from not just one, but two New York Court cases against the former president — the criminal and infamous Stormy Daniels hush money case led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the civil defamation trial appeal that Trump is currently fighting through.

The Times confirmed that Tacopina will no longer be involved in Donald Trump’s defense in the Manhattan District Attorney’s falsified business records case that is currently scheduled to kick off in March.

Ex-President Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung released a statement to the Times that failed to address Tacopina’s departure from the Trump legal team, but claimed that the former president boasts “the most experienced, qualified, disciplined, and overall strongest legal team ever assembled.”

As it stands, no clear reason for Tacopina’s sudden withdrawal from the Trump legal team has been publicly released.

The attorney was a key player in several of Trump’s defenses, across several cases against the former president, and has represented multiple, high-profile clients, including Fox News host Sean Hannity, the former Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, and the rapper A$AP Rocky, as noted by the New York Times.

Trump is also represented by Todd Blanche in the high-profile Manhattan case that accuses the scandal-plagued former president of making and subsequently hiding multiple hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the midst of his 2016 presidential run.

As with all of the 91 charges currently raging against Donald Trump, the former president has pleaded not guilty.
