This morning, as he prepared to enter Judge Juan Merchan’s Manhattan courtroom for yet another day of Michael Cohen’s testimony in his infamous Stormy Daniels Hush Money trial, scandal-plagued former President Donald Trump was confronted, face to face, by a reporter who wanted answers as to whether or not Donald has been “directing” his surrogates to launch disgusting attacks against the criminal trial on his behalf, as Trump himself remains gagged in this case.
This particular question ultimately prompted one of the most wildly outlandish claims Trump has popped off with to date.
Monday’s kickoff with Michael Cohen’s testimony has proven that this will be an extremely intense week in the Hush Money trial, as Donald’s former personal attorney and self-described “fixer” has dropped an unrelenting series of absolute bombshells on the jury — including his sworn testimony that Donald Trump personally warned him that “a lot of women” would be coming forward with allegations against him after he announced his 2016 presidential campaign.
Trump, of course, remains subject to a strict gag order that bars him from attacking or otherwise discussing any of the witnesses in this case, leaving him largely silenced as Michael Cohen rips him to shreds from the witness stand.

However, Donald has been getting more than a little help in making sure that his vicious daily attacks still go public via his surrogates outside the courtroom, including the likes of Republican Senators J.D. Vance and Tommy Tuberville — both of whom have sat in the courtroom to show their support for the scandal-ridden former president and 2024 Republican frontrunner and raged to reporters outside the courtroom on Donald’s behalf. Neither of them are subject to the gag order put in place by Judge Merchan.
On his way into court this morning, Trump was confronted by a reporter who asked if these “surrogates” were being directed by the former president.
Trump responded with the absolutely insane claim that some of his surrogates are Democrats.
“Mr. Trump really directed surgeons to speak on their behalf?” the reporter shouted.
“I do have a lot of surrogates, and they are speaking very beautifully,” Trump responded. “And they come all– from all over Washington and they’re highly respected, and they think this is the greatest scam they’ve ever seen.”
“And some are Democrats. They’re very embarrassed by what’s going on.”
For the record, Donald, absolutely no one is buying that.
