In his effort to deliver a steady stream of humdinger rebuttals to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address last night (provided that his Truth Social platform wasn’t down like it was half the night last night) scandal-ridden former President and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump popped off with a “comeback” so controversial among his side of the fence, he managed to piss off even his staunchest and most loyal supporters, like right-wing nutjob Alex Jones.
Trump made it well known that he was watching the SOTU last night and giving his live responses to basically every word out of Biden’s mouth on his Truth Social platform (again, provided that it was working.)
Suffice it to say that basically every breath to come out of his successor’s mouth got under Donnie’s skin in the worst kind of way. However, it was the part of Biden’s speech where he said that the “pandemic no longer controls our lives,” and that the vaccines that “saved us from COVID are now being used to help beat cancer” that really threw the big guy over the deep end.
In his Truth Social response, Trump screeched, “YOU’RE WELCOME, JOE.”
“NINE MONTH APPROVAL TIME VS. 12 YEARS THAT IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN YOU!” he added.

Of course, a large percentage of Donald Trump’s base are COVID deniers who firmly believe, or at least claim, that the entire pandemic was a hoax and the vaccines are some sort of government plot to steal our identities, make us all into drones, kill us off, or lower our credit scores — who really knows what they’re going with, at the point.
But nevertheless, Trump’s apparent, albeit wishy-washy support for the COVID vaccine and, even more so, his attempt to claim its success as his own, sent a whole lot his supporters into an unhinged hissy fit.
Alex Jones, the Sandy Hook guy who once called the COVID-19 vaccine a “biological weapon,” took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his big feelings over Trump’s response to President Biden.
“I love Trump but this is BS!” Jones fumed. “The so-called vaccine is a biological weapon! Good news is people are awake and not even 45 can sell it.”
Right-wing podcaster Tracy Beanz was equally pissed off, sharing a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post, captioning, “The amount of anger I have over this can’t be quantified in words.”

Jones, of course, is probably deriving the bulk of his anger from the fact that he tried really, really hard to be an opportunist when COVID hit, by trying to sell his own bullshit supplements to gullible fools like you see above.
