On Tuesday, The Washington Post reported that Manhattan’s district attorney had convened the grand jury to consider whether to indict former President Donald Trump, other executives at his company, or the business itself. The sprawling investigation includes hush-money payments paid to women on Trump’s behalf, property valuations, and employee compensation. Trump is a very predictable man, so he took to his blog to feign to be a victim in all of this. We’re sure he’ll fundraise off this investigation into his possible crimes, too. The twice-impeached one-term president responded by regurgitating his old defense, saying it’s a “witch hunt,” before lashing out at New York.
“This is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in American history,” Trump wrote. I”t began the day I came down the escalator in Trump Tower, and it’s never stopped. They wasted two years and $48 million in taxpayer dollars on Mueller and Russia Russia Russia, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and it continues to this day, with illegally leaked confidential information.”
First off, the impeachments were not a “hoax.” Trump was impeached twice. And this investigation has nothing to do with Russia or Mueller.
“No other President in history has had to put up with what I have had to, and on top of all that, I have done a great job for our Country, whether it’s taxes, regulations, our Military, Veterans, Space Force, our Borders, speedy creation of a great vaccine (said to be a miracle!), and protecting the Second Amendment,” he continued.

“This is purely political, and an affront to the almost 75 million voters who supported me in the Presidential Election, and it’s being driven by highly partisan Democrat prosecutors,” he claimed as if “law and order” don’t matter where he’s concerned.
Then he attacked New York.
“New York City and State are suffering the highest crime rates in their history, and instead of going after murderers, drug dealers, human traffickers, and others, they come after Donald Trump,” he wrote in the third person.
“Interesting that today a poll came out indicating I’m far in the lead for the Republican Presidential Primary and the General Election in 2024,” he continued.
“Our Country is broken, our elections are rigged, corrupt, and stolen, our prosecutors are politicized, and I will just have to keep on fighting like I have been for the last five years!” he falsely said.
The election wasn’t “rigged.” and Trump was indeed defeated by President Joe Biden in both the electoral and popular vote. And since New York is reopening, I’m sure crime has increased. Also 2+2= 4.
According to the Associated Press, the probe “includes scrutiny of Trump’s relationship with his lenders; a land donation he made to qualify for an income tax deduction, and tax write-offs his company claimed on millions of dollars in consulting fees it paid,” and the outlet adds, “The new grand jury could eventually be asked to consider returning indictments.”
Interestingly, Trump calls this a “witch hunt,” however, he held rallies where “lock her up!” chants rang out. The former reality show star dogged his predecessor, claiming that he was an illegitimate president, falsely saying that Obama was born in Kenya. Every accusation from a narcissist is a confession.
