Trump Responds To Health Questions With A Bold Claim About Genetics

Reality keeps showing through

President Donald Trump wants everyone to stop talking about his health. He also cannot stop talking about it himself.

At 79, the oldest man ever to take the presidency, Trump says nothing is wrong. He insists he has “very good genetics” and claims his health is “perfect,” even as new details show a president who often ignores medical advice and grows angry at public scrutiny.

“In retrospect, it’s too bad I took it because it gave them a little ammunition,” Trump said about getting a cardiovascular and abdominal scan in October. “I would have been a lot better off if they didn’t, because the fact that I took it said, ‘Oh gee, is something wrong?’ Well, nothing’s wrong.”

Trump admitted he takes more aspirin than doctors recommend and refuses to lower the dose, even though it causes him to bruise easily. He said he has taken it for 25 years and does not want to change. “I’m a little superstitious,” he said. “They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart.”

“I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”

Doctors also urged Trump to wear compression socks for swelling ankles. He tried them briefly and quit because he did not like them.

Despite his claims of strength, people close to Trump say signs of aging are visible. He struggles to keep his eyes open during some televised events. Aides and donors often have to speak loudly because he strains to hear. He sleeps very little and does not exercise outside of golf. His diet remains heavy on hamburgers and french fries.

Trump denies all of it.

He said he does not fall asleep at events and insists his hearing is fine. He also denied exaggerating his medical care, even though he repeatedly said he received an MRI when it was actually a CT scan.

“It wasn’t an MRI,” Trump said. “It was less than that. It was a scan.”

His doctor, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, confirmed Trump received a CT scan and said it showed no abnormalities. Barbabella said Trump is in “exceptional health and perfectly suited to execute his duties as Commander in Chief.”

The White House also shared an AI assisted analysis from the Mayo Clinic that estimated Trump’s cardiac age to be 65.

During his first term, he played down his Covid symptoms and did not disclose a colonoscopy. He now uses makeup to conceal bruises on his hands. His skin has grown so delicate that Attorney General Pam Bondi caused his hand to bleed when her ring nicked him during a high five.
