Recently, Donald Trump shared December’s employment figures on Truth Social late Thursday night, hours before the official report was scheduled to drop Friday morning.

The post showed a gain of 654,000 private sector jobs since January 2025. The charts matched the government’s unreleased data, giving markets an early look at numbers that usually move billions of dollars.

When CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked why the information was posted ahead of time, Trump brushed it off.

“I don’t know if they posted them. I said post them whenever you get a chance,” he said. “They gave me some numbers. When people give me things, I post them.”

He did not signal any concern about sharing the data early.

“The numbers are amazing,” Trump added.

The response on social media was fierce. Users questioned his judgment, calling out the risks of posting crucial economic information so casually.
