Donald Trump can’t shut up about Jeffrey Epstein, and this week, he snapped at a CNN anchor who asked about the latest embarrassing story.

Trump, in recent days, has been giving a new explanation for how he and Epstein fell out and stopped being friends. Differing reports over the years have attributed the split either to a real estate dispute or to Trump objecting to Epstein hitting on the daughter of a member of Mar-a-Lago. But now, Trump is claiming that Epstein “stole” employees of Mar-a-Lago, including young women who worked at the club’s spa.

“He took people that worked for me. And I told him, ‘Don’t do it anymore.’ And he did it,” Trump said, per NBC News. One of them is Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent of Epstein’s accusers, and one of the few who accused other men besides Epstein. However, Giuffre, who passed away earlier this year, has never accused Trump of any sexual wrongdoing.

Then, on Tuesday, as reported by Mediaite, CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins asked Trump if Giuffre was among the “stolen” employees at the heart of his dispute with Epstein. It was a two-part exchange that started on Trump’s plane and finished back at the White House.

” I don’t know. I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people, yes. He — he stole her. And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know. None whatsoever,” he said.

“Mr. President, you said earlier that Jeffrey Epstein was stealing young women. You said Jeffrey Epstein was stealing women from your spa. Did that raise alarm bells for you?,” Collins said.

“Be quiet!,” the president said.

CNN reported more about Trump and Epstein’s falling out this week.

“The answer doesn’t just call into question Trump’s honesty about his relationship with Epstein, but also his potential knowledge of the accused sex trafficker’s misconduct. (Trump has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.),” CNN reported.

“It’s clear that this is something of a sensitive subject. After Epstein’s arrest in 2019, Trump declined to go into detail about their falling out, telling reporters, ‘The reason doesn’t make any difference, frankly.'”
