As part of a long posting spree on Truth Social on Saturday night through Sunday, President Donald Trump made one post that some found concerning.

Trump posted a clip of Frank Sinatra’s signature song, “My Way.” The song, recorded in 1968, is known for celebrating selfishness, which is certainly something on brand for Trump. But it also includes the lyrics “and now/the end is near/and so I face/my final curtain.”

According to PennLive, “It turns out some people become concerned when, while trying to decipher the president’s messaging on social media, they encounter a song that begins that way without any added context.”

It’s possible that Trump wasn’t thinking about the lyrical context and was thinking about the “I did it my way” part of the song. It’s also worth noting that Sinatra’s daughter, Nancy, has stated that her father “loathed” Donald Trump, citing a reported money dispute over Trump’s request that Sinatra perform at the opening of his Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City in 1990.

Also, last December, Trump blasted that same song over the White House speakers:

Some social media users had things to say about the “My Way” post:
