Trump Sparks Uproar With Late-Night Post Calling Opposition The ‘Party of Hate, Evil and Satan’

Trump compared the Democrats to Satan in a Truth Social post.

In the current season of South Park, Donald Trump is depicted, literally, in bed with Satan, in a reprise of a bit that South Park first did with Saddam Hussein, back in the 1999 Bigger, Longer and Uncut movie.

Ironically, the real-life Trump has now taken to referring to his political opponents as Satanic.

Trump posted a meme to Truth Social late on Thursday night, stating, “The Party of Hate, Evil and Satan: “The Democratic Party is Dead! They have no leadership! No message! No hope! Their only message for America is to hate Trump.”

The extremely crude image includes photos of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and former President Joe Biden, and former First Lady Jill Biden. The meme may be old or outdated, since Biden is no longer president and Pelosi is no longer the top Democratic leader in the House.

As pointed out by an MSNBC blog post, the post represents some hypocrisy, especially following several weeks of Republicans accusing Democrats of “incitement,” following the killing of Charlie Kirk.

“In the weeks since Kirk’s slaying, countless Republicans have repeated effectively the same line: Democrats and their allies on the left have created a dangerous political climate. Words such as ‘fascist,’ the argument goes, are so incendiary that they inspire violence, such as the shooting that killed Kirk,” the MSNBC post says.

Notable is that the post refers to “The Democratic Party,” not the usual epithet “The Democrat Party.”

“There are plenty of problems with the GOP’s pitch, but near the top of the list is the fact that Donald Trump keeps using the kind of rhetoric that his party keeps condemning.” Trump even stated, during Kirk’s memorial service, that “I hate my opponents,” in a contrast with Erika Kirk’s declaration that she forgives her husband’s shooter.

“All of this dovetailed with Trump telling Americans that his political opponents are “fascists,” who are also guilty of “treason.” His domestic foes, the president has added, are also “enemies of the people,” “the enemy within” and “threats to democracy,'” MSNBC said.
