Late Sunday night, President Donald Trump shared a picture of himself on Truth Social and thanked himself for being the nation’s hardest-working hero.
The photo showed him walking alone on the White House lawn, holding his red MAGA hat and wearing a loose tie. He looked tired, maybe even reflective. But the caption told a different story.
“I want to thank Donald Trump for working like a dog for no money to save a Country that doesn’t appreciate his sacrifice! Thank you Mr President!” the post read.
Trump then added his own message at the top: “Thank you. Big progress for America being made!”

So there it was. The president thanking himself for saving a country he claims does not appreciate him.
No one really knows who made the picture or where it came from. It just appeared on his page, like many of his other self-celebrations.
Some people online had some thoughts.
That just goes to show that he is doing all of these deals just to try to get a Nobel Peace Prize. This man doesn’t do anything for nothing.

🙄 They always used this old picture from his first term as the proof he works so hard for the American people. In this picture he’s coming back to the White House after a campaign rally. He’s was working hard trying to keep himself in power. It’s all about him. Always.

The post came after a long week filled with new fights and old grudges. On Saturday, Trump raised tariffs on Canada by another 10% after claiming an ad from Ontario used a “fraudulent” clip of Ronald Reagan criticizing tariffs. “Canada was caught red handed,” he said, calling the video “a total fake.”
He also spent the week showing off plans for the new $300 million White House ballroom, which he says will be “the most beautiful in the world.”
Meanwhile, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters that Trump and China’s leader Xi Jinping had reached “the framework” for a trade deal.
