It’s becoming increasingly clear with each passing day at this point that FL’s Right-wing Governor Ron DeSantis is shaping up to be the Republican Party’s new golden child, as we creep closer and closer to the impending 2024 presidential election, to run up against and ideally (among Republicans) defeat Donald J. Trump in his 3rd consecutive White House run — and Donald Trump is not coping with that realization very well.
DeSantis, while it’s certainly expected to come at any day now, has yet to even formally or officially commit to his possible 2024 presidential candidacy. However, that lack of commitment has done absolutely nothing to soothe scandal-ridden Trump’s fears that he’s soon to be unseated and defeated by a man who used to praise the very ground he walked on.
As the DeSantis debacle essentially eats him alive, Trump has struggled hard to keep his outbursts to himself. Now, it seems the scandal-ridden former guy has learned that one particular, high-level right-wing organization has officially thrown its support behind the staunchly alt-Right FL governor, and it effectively sent Donald Trump into a late-night rampage for the ages.
Taking to his struggling Truth Social platform recently, Trump took aim at the Club for Growth, over the recent news that the fringe Right organization is working diligently to center DeSantis as Trump’s conqueror in the still theoretical 2024 match-up between the worst of the worst that the GOP has to offer.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:
Failed former Congressman David McIntosh and his Globalist friends at Club for No Growth, who fought me all the way in 2016, and LOST, and then fought me again in 2020 Senate Races in Ohio, Alabama, North Carolina, New Hampshire, plus more, and LOST AGAIN, are now threatening to spend money against me early because their new boy, Ron DeSanctus, the man who wants to cut Social Security and MediCare, has dropped so drastically in the Polls to me. No Growth Members know there will be RETRIBUTION!!!”
The former president’s rage spilled over into the early hours of the morning, as he turned to target Fox News Network monarch Rupert Murdoch, over his recent sworn testimony in which Murdoch asserted under oath that he does not believe Donald Trump’s unending claims regarding the 2020 presidential election being “stolen” from him through widespread, national voter fraud.
“If Rupert Murdoch honestly believes that the Presidential Election of 2020, despite MASSIVE amounts of proof to the contrary, was not Rigged & Stollen, then he & his group of MAGA Hating Globalist RINOS should get out of the News Business as soon as possible, because they are aiding & abetting the DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA with FAKE NEWS,” the former president fumed in an early morning post. “Certain BRAVE & PATRIOTIC FoxNews Hosts, who he scorns and ridicules, got it right. He got it wrong. THEY SHOULD BE ADMIRED & PRAISED, NOT REBUKED & FORSAKEN!!!”
There remains precisely zero evidence to back up this incessant claim from the former president, despite multiple Trump-backed investigations, probes, research, and lawsuits attempting to prove that he was cheated out of his 2020 presidential win. In fact, members of Donald Trump’s own former Justice Department have repeatedly testified that they extensively investigated these claims on Trump’s behalf and came up empty-handed every single time.
