Trump Throws A Hissy Fit After Pence’s Failed Phone Call With Democratic Senators, Calls Them “Rude” And “Nasty”

Donald Trump just inadvertently admitted on Twitter that Vice President Mike Pence’s phone call with Democratic Senators on Friday was a massive failure. Democrats would like nothing better than to have a president in charge who can lead us through the COVID-19 pandemic, but that’s not what we currently have in the White House. Pence’s call even infuriated Maine Independent Senator Angus King, and that’s not an easy accomplishment. King is a laid back, chill kind of guy, after all.

The exchange was so bad that King said afterward, “I have never been so mad about a phone call in my life. [It’s a] dereliction of duty.” The Maine Independent was rightfully upset after Pence made it clear that states are on their own regarding testing constituents with no guidance from the White House.

So, Trump took to his Twitter account to vent his rage.

“Example!”

The nasty president continued to stomp his little webbed feet:

And of course, Trump wants states to lift social distancing guidelines if they choose to, so the red states can infect the rest of us amid the massive pandemic. Florida’s Republican governor Ron DeSantis is a prime example of how to spread a disease by failing to act on locking down his state. The dude doesn’t even know how to put on a face mask amid the national crisis, so we can’t expect much from him anyway.

Trump is lashing out at Democrats while continuing to divide this country after over thirty-thousand Americans have died from the novel coronavirus that he failed to address when he first learned of the looming pandemic. That’s not very MAGA, Mr. Trump.
