Trump Unleashed Fury In Social Media Post Over Claims He’s Attacking Harvard Because He Didn’t Get In

This feels very petty

President Donald Trump is upset after biographer Michael Wolff said he is attacking Harvard because he didn’t get accepted.

Wolff made the comment on a podcast last week, claiming that Trump once tried to get into Harvard but was rejected. He suggested that this might be why Trump now targets the school so often.

Trump didn’t like that at all. On Monday night, he posted a long message on Truth Social.

“Michael Wolff, a Third Rate Reporter, who is laughed at even by the scoundrels of the Fake News, recently stated that the only reason I’m ‘beating up’ on Harvard is because I applied there and didn’t get in,” Trump wrote. “That story is totally FALSE; I never applied to Harvard. I graduated from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania,” he added. “He is upset because his book about me was a total ‘BOMB.’ Nobody wanted it because his ‘reporting’ and reputation is so bad!”

Even though Trump says he never applied to Harvard, many people still feel his attacks on the school are personal. This isn’t the first time he has gone after elite universities. Some of his own advisors attended Harvard and Yale, but Trump often talks about those schools as if they were the enemy.

Podcast host Joanna Coles pointed this out. She said, “It’s also odd because so many of the people around Donald Trump went to Ivy League universities. Several of them went to Harvard Business School. Obviously, JD Vance proudly went to Yale.”

Wolff responded, “It’s important not to lend too much calculation and planning to anything he does… But the other thing is that, by the way, he didn’t get into Harvard. So one of the Trump things is always holding a grudge against the Ivy Leagues.”

Currently, the Trump administration is engaged in a serious dispute with Harvard. His team has blocked the school from accepting international students. They are also trying to force students from other countries to leave the U.S., even if they’re already enrolled.

Harvard responded by filing a lawsuit. The university says what Trump is doing is hurting the school and more than 7,000 visa holders. They argue that it violates the First Amendment and causes real harm.

The Department of Homeland Security defended the move. They said Harvard has created an unsafe environment. They blamed the school for allowing protests and said Jewish students were being threatened. But many people believe that Trump is just using this as an excuse to punish the school.

Speaking from the Oval Office last week, Trump said, “Harvard has to behave themselves. Harvard is treating our country with great disrespect.”

These are not words people expect to hear from a president. This is not about safety or fairness. It looks more like revenge.
