Trump Went After MTG On Social Media And She Just Fired Back

A messy breakup, honestly expected.

President Donald Trump cut one of his loudest political ties on Friday night, ending his support for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and calling her “Wacky” and a “ranting Lunatic” in a Truth Social post.

Trump posted the message shortly after 10 p.m., declaring he was done backing the Georgia congresswoman he once praised as a loyal fighter.

“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,” Trump wrote. He went on to list what he saw as his many achievements before pivoting back to Greene. “All I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”

The post did not slow down from there. Trump explained that the break seemed to start when he sent Greene a poll showing weak numbers if she ran for higher office. According to him, that did not go over well.

“It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance,” he wrote. He added she would not get his endorsement anyway. Then he added a familiar Trump line: he simply does not have time for her calls. “I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.”

Trump also hinted he would support a primary challenger in her district. “If the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support,” he said. For good measure, he accused her of drifting to “Far Left” territory, noting she even appeared on The View, a show he said was run by “Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.”

The dramatic break comes after Greene has grown more vocal about her concerns with the administration. She has criticized Trump’s foreign policy priorities and said the White House seems more focused on guests from overseas than Americans struggling at home.

Greene responded almost immediately on X, saying Trump’s attack was tied to her push to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. She said she had not called him at all but did send text messages raising concerns.

“President Trump just attacked me and lied about me,” her post said. “Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files. And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.”

She said it was “astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out,” and added that most Americans wish he showed the same energy “to help the forgotten men and women of America.”

Greene also reminded Trump of her long loyalty. “I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back,” she wrote. But she added she does not “worship or serve Donald Trump,” noting she serves her district, the country, and her faith.

“For me, I remain America First and America Only!!!” she ended.
