Donald Trump woke up mad and logged in to rage.
On Sunday morning, the president blasted Oprah Winfrey on Truth Social, threatening prosecution and accusing her of being paid off during the 2024 election. “Three Million Dollars for ‘expenses,’ to Oprah,” Trump wrote, calling the payment illegal. He also ranted about Beyoncé and Al Sharpton, saying they were all part of a Democratic plot.
“Eleven Million Dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT,” Trump posted. “Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV ‘anchor,’ Al Sharpton.”
He ended with this: “YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO.”

Trump said the “ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records” and warned: “Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them? All hell would break out!”
But let’s be clear: the rant wasn’t really about Oprah.
Trump has been scrambling for distractions since the Epstein story came back into the headlines. His choice not to release the Epstein files triggered massive backlash—even from his own base. Protesters flew banners in Florida that read, “TRUMP AND BONDI ARE PROTECTING PREDATORS.”
So now, he’s reaching for anything. And this time, it’s Oprah.
It all goes back to the 2024 election, when Kamala Harris stepped in after Joe Biden dropped out. It was a rushed campaign—just 15 weeks long. Oprah gave a speech at Harris’ final rally. Beyoncé showed up at a Houston event. Trump lost his mind.
He says Democrats paid off celebrities for those moments. He’s not offering proof—just fury.
And this comes days after he accused Barack Obama of “treason.” The meltdown has been nonstop.
Even conservative news watchers have noticed the shift. Trump’s focus is no longer on policy—it’s on throwing mud at anyone who challenges him or reminds the public of Epstein. And Oprah? She’s a big target.
Trump’s posts are also full of projection. He calls out “books and records” being wrong while he himself is still under investigation for false filings and financial crimes. He screams about celebrities being “paid” while bragging about paying off porn stars.
