It’s now six months since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

“Wow, time flies! Today is that Sixth Month Anniversary of my Second Term,” Trump posted on Truth Social early Sunday.

“Importantly, it’s being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any President,” he added.

In the six months since Inauguration Day, Trump has focused on immigration, spending, international conflict, and trying to undo what he calls the damage left behind by President Biden. The president says the country was in bad shape when he took office again.

“Six months is not a long time to have totally revived a major Country,” Trump wrote. “One year ago our Country was DEAD, with almost no hope of revival.”

Now, he says the situation has completely changed. “Today the USA is the ‘hottest’ and most respected Country anywhere in the World. Happy Anniversary!!!”

He also pointed to rising support within his party.

“They have hit 90%, 92%, 93%, and 95%, in various polls, and are all Republican Party records,” Trump said. “The General Election numbers are my highest, EVER!”

Outside of his base, Trump is facing different numbers. According to a poll by Decision Desk HQ, 52.7 percent of Americans disapprove of his presidency. Just 44.6 percent approve. The latest Economist and YouGov poll shows his disapproval is now higher than at any point in his second term.

Trump blamed his critics and brought up Jeffrey Epstein again.

“Since the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax was exposed by the Radical Left Democrats and, just plain ‘troublemakers,’ my numbers have gone up, significantly,” he said.

Last week, Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the grand jury files connected to the Epstein case. There has been growing pressure from the public to open the files. Trump agreed to the release but said the public will likely continue to ask for more.

“We got a lot of good and great things done, including ending numerous wars of Countries not related to us other than through Trade and/or, in certain cases, friendship,” Trump wrote.

In his first six months, Trump also signed the “Big Beautiful Bill,” a massive tax and spending law that makes permanent the 2017 tax cuts. The law also cut Medicaid and increased funding for the military and border protection.

He has expanded federal immigration arrests and sent the National Guard to Los Angeles after anti-ICE protests. He bypassed California’s governor to make that move.

Trump also placed tariffs on several trading partners, sparking a trade fight. A new round of tariffs is expected to be implemented soon.

He continues to describe his second term as a complete turnaround from what he called a country in decline.

“GOD BLESS AMERICA. MAGA!” he wrote.
