Despite all of his neverending scandal and legal peril, disgraced former President Donald Trump still made sure to wish the nation a Happy Easter… Kinda.
Suffice it to say, Trump has had a long couple of weeks — considering the entire Manhattan hush money investigation came crashing down in an avalanche on his head, starting with the grand jury’s historic decision to criminally indict a former US president and ending (for now) with Donald being technically arrested and formally arraigned on a whopping 34 felony charges — and boy, did that really show this weekend.
On Sunday, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to mark what could be argued as the most sacred holiday in the history and scope of Christianity. He did so by pitching a massive temper tantrum against the variety of people who are daring to hold him accountable for his crimes, basically trashing the nation he swore to serve for four long years in the White House, and this all came after he called the sitting US president a treasonous pervert.
I wish to God I was making this up.

Late Saturday evening, Trump took to Truth Social to repost a message from one of his supporters on the platform, claiming that President Joe Biden and his allies are guilty of crimes punishable by death, ominously adding, “They will pay.”
The post, reposted by Donald Trump, read:
Perverted joe Biden is a treasonous traitor trying to overthrow the United States of America and our constitution.That makes him and democrats public enemy .They will pay for crimes against humanity and treason.”
The disgraced ex-president didn’t post on his social media platform again until the next morning when he released his Easter message at about 10:30 AM, in which the caps lock was fully engaged for the whole entire tirade and Donnie aired his grievances out for the world:
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, INCLUDING THOSE THAT DREAM ENDLESSLY OF DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF DREAMING ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE, THOSE THAT ARE SO INCOMPETENT THEY DON’T REALIZE THAT HAVING A BORDER AND POWERFUL WALL IS A GOOD THING, & HAVING VOTER I.D., ALL PAPER BALLOTS, & SAME DAY VOTING WILL QUICKLY END MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD, & TO ALL OF THOSE WEAK & PATHETIC RINOS, RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS, SOCIALISTS, MARXISTS, & COMMUNISTS WHO ARE KILLING OUR NATION, REMEMBER, WE WILL BE BACK!”
I guess the whole Christ rising from the dead thing isn’t all that important to Donnie in the scheme of things.
