Trump’s Easter Day Message Is Anything But Christ-Like

Always blaming others

Easter holidays are usually peaceful. Families go to church. People share food and spend time with loved ones. Many people feel joy and hope. It is a time to speak kindly and forgive others. But for Donald Trump, Easter became something else. He used the day to attack people.

On Easter Sunday, Trump wrote two messages on his social media platform. The first message was kind. He said:

“Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! … may this day be full of Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!”

That post was nice. But minutes later, Trump made a second post. This one was very different. He turned his Easter message into a big rant about Joe Biden, judges, the 2020 election, and even gangs.

Trump wrote: “Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country.”

This was not a normal Easter message. He also attacked judges and police officers. He said, “Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue.”

Trump also attacked President Joe Biden. He called him: “Sleepy Joe Biden” and said Biden allowed “millions of criminals” to enter the country.

Trump’s claims are not entirely true. The U.S. does have problems at the border, but many people are stopped and checked. He said “millions of criminals” are entering the country, but that is not true.

He also talked about the 2020 election. He still says the election was stolen from him. He wrote: “To all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election… I wish you, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a very Happy Easter.”

Many courts have said the 2020 election was fair. There is no proof that the election was stolen.

A lot of people are confused by Trump’s Easter posts. Some say it was strange to attack others on a holy day.

Easter is about love, peace, and new life. Even if people disagree on politics, they can still enjoy the day together. Good leaders know when to speak and when to stay silent.
