Trump’s Insecurity Appears To Rear Its Ugly Head As He Attacks Tim Walz At Town Hall: ‘I’m Not Weird, He’s Weird’

He seems insecure about the whole "weird" thing.

Recently, former President Donald Trump, speaking in La Crosse, called Minnesota Governor Tim Walz “weird.” Yes, Trump—famous for his unpredictable and often odd behavior—chose to attack Walz not for his policies, but simply for being “weird.” To make things even stranger, Trump added, “I’m not weird,” as if trying to convince himself. My question remains, who’s really the weird one here?

If you have to tell people you’re not weird, that’s a pretty big clue that you might be, right? One Twitter user, @ziggeroonski, nailed it with, “Yeah you are, if you have to tell people you’re not weird then yes you are.” It’s similar to trying to convince everyone you’re not crazy—if you have to say it, people will wonder! Another user, @PieFillingTV, didn’t hold back, saying, “If you constantly have to spend a minute or two explaining to people that you’re not weird, guess what? you’re fvcking weird.”

Trump’s obsession with calling people names isn’t new, but this time, it just feels especially odd. Here’s a man who has made headlines for years with his controversial and often confusing remarks, now trying to convince people that he’s the normal one. Just days ago, during an interview on “Fox and Friends,” Trump spent over 30 minutes ranting about a wide range of topics—from tampons in school restrooms to the Russia-Ukraine conflict—none of which had much to do with the questions he was asked.

The more Trump talks, the more it seems like he’s trying to distract from the real issues. But while he’s busy calling Walz “weird,” many people, including Republicans, are left cringing. As @AyababeOf tweeted, “Lol, I think it was a bad idea for him to do this interview. I’m sure Republicans in Congress would be embarrassed by this and wonder what the heck he’s talking about.”

So, who’s really the weird one here? Trump’s latest outburst in La Crosse might have been meant to make Walz look bad, but in the end, all it did was make Trump seem even more out of touch. His need to constantly defend himself and attack others just shows how disconnected he is from reality.
